STRANGER IN THE WOODS – Review – STACKED Rating

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Follows Olivia and her friends as they go on a vacation. After Olivia nearly drowned with a slit wrist in her bathtub after her fiancé’s funeral, her friends suspect that she killed herself, but she believes someone attacked her.

“Stranger In The Woods” is one wild ride that’ll keep you on the edge of your seat! Imagine a group of friends heading to a cabin in the woods for a getaway, but things take a terrifying turn when one of them suspects someone’s out to get her.
Meet Olivia, played by Holly Kenney, who’s dealing with some serious trauma. As she tries to recover, she joins her friends on this trip, only to find herself in a fight for survival. And let me tell you, the tension is real!
But here’s the twist – the creepy guy next door, Clayton, played by Teddy Spencer, might not be who you think he is. He’s scary, sure, but there’s more to him than meets the eye. Props to Spencer for bringing out the chills while also showing a vulnerable side.
As Olivia’s dog disappears and paranoia sets in, it’s a race against time to uncover the truth. With Valentine’s Day vibes mixed with horror, it’s the perfect flick for those flying solo this V-Day. And hey, even if you’re loved up, it’s still a thrill ride worth checking out.
Directed by Adam Newacheck and produced by his brother Kyle, “Stranger In The Woods” delivers the goods. The screenplay, penned by Holly Kenney herself, keeps you guessing till the end. Sure, you might figure out some twists, but that’s all part of the fun.
Overall, it’s a solid thriller with a killer cast and plenty of surprises. I’d give it a solid 3 out of 5 – excited to see what these filmmakers come up with next!

Director: Adam Newacheck
Writer: Holly Kenney
Stars: Holly Kenney, Brendin Brown, T.A. Spencer, Devon Stewart, Paris Nicole, and Radek Antczak
